STRUNG is a new concept in golf putters.
Instead of a solid surface, the ball hits an array made of taut metal strings.
It can be fine-tuned, just like a guitar! Just by turning a dial, the strings can be easily tightened or loosened.
Its center of mass is perfectly aligned with the shaft and the putter's head, delivering stability and precision to the player.
Inner view: besides adjusting the strings tension, different weights can be easily added or replaced for achieving the perfect momentum.
Inner view: STRUNG makes putting fully customizable. No need to carry a zillion putters around anymore!
Eden 330 3D printer ready to print some golf putter's heads.
Eden 330 3D printer: print head.
3D printing process: many models being printed together for time saving.
First 3D printing tests. Transverse section shows how the weights slide on the tracks within the putter's body.
Whole 3D printed model enveloped in a jelly support material.
Removing the jelly support material from around the hard resin actual model.
Partial model (without cap nor weights). The body and all turning parts have been printed simultaneously, without any assembling required.
Partially assembled model: cap and weights inserted.
