In the year 2018, I was commissioned to design an impactful, yet sophisticated and elegant packaging for ‘Mia Pasione’, the compact/portable version of the adult toy ‘Mia Maxx’, developed by the Australian company Dare Too. The product was made of medical grade silicon for maximum hygiene and safety. It offered innovative features, such as programmable vibration patterns, twist and click-on sleeves in various shapes and textures, expansion rings and, mainly, a 3-speed thrusting motion – a back-and-forth movement with an extent of 2.3 in (58 mm). The box contained a drawer to accommodate the product and its accessories. The outer case had a see-through window to show the actual device, and the graphics depicted the promised “golden waves of pleasure”.
